Are hybrid cars diesel?
While it would be possible to build a hybrid car using a dieselengine instead of the gasoline engine, I do not believe anymanufacturers are doing it. This may be because of problems withreliably restarting a diesel engine after stopping it that don'thappen with gasoline engines, but I'm not certain.
