What is the different between digital and manual illustration?
Digital illustration is rendered in part or full on a computer using an illustration program. *Some artists do a 'basic drawing' on paper, scan it into the computer and flesh it out with the program. Manual illustration is rendered solely with utensils like pencils, pens and brushes. It is a much more permanent form of art requiring lots of skill and patience because with manual illustration there is no 'edit undo' key.*see Adi Granov (comic book artist)
