I have two children with my ex. She has lost custody of the children due to csb intervention. Her family is trying to obtain custody of the children. I contest this but they told the caseworker that i would not be interested and did not contact me when the children were removed from the home. Now the grandparents have already started the custody process through the courts. What are my rights as biological father and what actions do i take to exercise those rights?
Answer
You need to contact the Children's Services case worker handling your case immediately. It also would be beneficial to hire an attorney or contact the local juvenile court where your case is to see if you qualify for court appointed counsel .
