Who Is meep?
Miep Geis (born HermineSantruschitz) was a close friend of Anne Frank's familywho, along with her husband and several other employees helped hidethe Franks, the van Pel family and Fritz Pfeffer from the Nazis inthe attic (or annex) for two years until someone betrayed them andtold the Nazi's where to find them.
She was a hero who risked her life to help others in a time whenpeople would turn their backs and spy on their neighbors to keepthemselves safe from German harassment.
