Question

I submitted a 30 day notice to my landlord and then decided to stay and told them I want to cancel the 30 day notice. Do I have legal rights to stay here?

Answer

Not unless the landlord agrees that you can cancel the 30 day notice. It is not fair for you to give notice, have the landlord take steps to prepare for a new renter or tenant, and then you change your mind.
