When were Simca cars popular?
Simca's were at the height of their popularity from the mid-'50s to the early '70s; the company was bought by Chrysler in '58. The marque's popularity declined during the late '70s, and it finally disappeared in 1980, although several original Simca designs were used throughout the '80s by Peugeot, which bought the company.
