Me and my wife are getting divorced(in TX). She has lost her wedding ring and made a homeowner's insurance claim. A Check was recieved with both our names on it. If there was still a ring it would be hers no questions asked. But what about this check that was claimed on our insurance? Is the check community property or just hers.

You've answered your own question. It's a payment for the loss of her separate property, which is the same as if she had sold it. The money is hers.
