What is Lorenzo de' Medici famous for?
Lorenzo DE' Medici was the ruler of the Florentine Republic in the time of the Italian Renaissance. Known as Lorenzo the Magnificent Florentine s referred to him as Lorenzo the Magnificent he was a patron of the arts and managed to keep a fragile peace going between competing Italian states. He ruled over a time known to Italians as the golden age. within 2 years of his passing the peace between the Italian states came to an end and shortly after that the french invaded, staying there for nearly 4 century's.
