i recently signed a listing agreement with century 21 in louisiana. its only been 2 days but i would like to cancel the agreement due to the agent not satisfying me for several reasons. the broker is refusing stating i signed a legal binding agreement and i believe wants to switch agents.
the fact that they are giving me problems and going ahead with advertising after i have requested cancellation makes me want to completely cancel
what r my options?
Answer
You will need to read your agreement. The provisions contained in it will control. You can certainly switch agents but will have to do so according to the agreement.
