My husband and I are separated, but will soon be filing for divorce. We have 3 kids and I am their main caretaker. We also have a home located on his father's land. He is trying to kick us out of the house he says we have to leave because it is his dad's land. Does he have the right to make my kids and I leave our home. He doesn't even live there, but we do and have no other place to go.

If he doesn't own the property, he can't force you to leave. When you file for divorce, be sure to ask for temporary orders that will award to you the exclusive use of the house.
