Question

Wrongful Judgement

I have had a judgement filed against myself and my real estate holding LLP for not allowing easement access. However, I do not own the the property cited in the judgement. It is owned by another individual and another LLP and is quite a distance from my property. No clue how the plantiffs attorney got this mixed up.

Can this be corrected and am I entitled to some damages due to the impact on my financial profile and my LLP's financial profile?

Answer

Re: Wrongful Judgement

It is not legal malpractice as to you because this was not your attorney. However, you may have a claim for slander of title among other items of damages.
