Fix it ticket?
Some states, (Florida is one) issue tickets for vehicle condition violations (e.g.: broken taillight - burnt out headlight - bald tires - etc). If you get the problem fixed within a certain amount stated on the ticket and get it inspected, or signed-off on as repaired, it carries no points.
