Can you weld a factory motor mount bracket back on to the engine block on a 2.8 liter V6 engine?

Can you weld a factory motor mount bracket back on to the engine block on a 2.8 liter V6 engine?
no because the block is composed of a cast metal, usually aluminum while the engine mount is made of hardened steel...sorry
