Question

If an unmarried parent is on life support which child has the legal right to "pull the plug" does it have to be a group decision amongst the children or does the oldest child have final say?

Answer

If the parent does not have a health care power of attorney or living will, it would have to be a decision reached by a majority of the adult children.
