What ins cover would a non owner of your car have to have?
They have to be a listed driver on your insurance coverage.I pay extra for this!: I may lend my car to a person for a very limited amount of time ( Maximum 24 hrs ) without adding them to my coverage as long as I know they have a licence and are over 25 years of age. Otherwise: I have to notify my insurance company and provide name and drivers licence # for them to be covered.
That is the only way another driver can be covered to drive my car. You need to call your insurance company and ask!
