A friend of mine has legal guardianship of my little girl. Her mother and I signed off on it three years ago. She is now four years old. The guardian moved out of state with her. She had the courts permission. I wasn't served because I signed a form that the guardian gave me, GC-085. She told me she was going on vacation for only three weeks but end up moving out of state for good. I went to the court house and the forms clearly show a move and not a three week vacation , which I thought I was signing. What can I do legally?
Answer
You can ask to have the petition reconsidered. or reviewed unless it was permanent. Even if it was permanent there may still be remedies. Call a probate attorney.
