Question

court appointed lawyer wants to quit judge refused. Stated he no longer wanted to do public defense.

Has done nothing on my part. Can trial be delayed?

Answer

No one here knows anything about your case, or speaks for the judge. Keep the lawyer or hire one.

Answer

You gave us no information to answer you other than to tell us the judge ruled against you already, which likely answers you.

Answer

The trial will be delayed. Why should an attorney have to work for a person that is ungrateful (remember he has done "nothing" on your part)? The attorney will be replaced, and a young, energetic, no-nothing wil be assigned to represent you, and you will be happy because he/she will be talking loud and bold, and saying nothing. Good luck.
