scrap steel is about $8.00 a ton right now in SE MI. the price of steel varies form what you need. black iron, coated, galvinized, bar, sheets, cut to length, all of these things will change your price but the cheapest is black iron sheets 10g 4X8 sheet about $100.00 or so.
