Question

I have a judgment against me for an eviction .

I want to know if I can take it back to court to get the amount changed?

The property management company first charged me approximately $1,200.00 and then jacked it up to $8,000.00.

They charged me for $ 350.00 for a garage door opener clicker and $7,000 and some change for new carpets.

Answer

Depending on how long its been, you should be able to go back in and seek relief similar to what you are talking about. You can do a motion to have the judgment amended and can also utilize C.C.P. 473 and other Code Sections. You will need good grounds/evidence to support your request, and make sure your request and the statute you use to bring it under are not barred by the statute of limitations controlling them. You should definitely speak to an attorney experiened in this area immediately.
