You may need an attorney to try to make this happen for you. Depending on several factors and the way it is presented to the court, you could try to get the restitution order modified to "restitution per civil judgement.". But if you attempt this on your own and you are not successful, you probably can't attempt it again for at least another year or more. Generally courts won't terminate probation unless all conditions of probation (restitution, fines, etc) are satisfied "in a timely manner." However it could be worth a try to convert fines etc to some other structure (modify probation) as Mr. Wallin mentioned. Consult a local criminal defense attorney in your area. Good luck!
