Where to find the vin in a 1967 VW?
the vin is under the spare tire up front and it will be a 6 digit number which is your chasis or serial number. the first 3 digits on your vin are the type and year. type 1 will be 11 and year will be 7 so you should have 117 then six digits after that and that will be the number your looking for.under the spare tire it will be a plaque there. there might be other places but im not sure where i just know of the one place. i hope this answered your question and good luck.
