In the State of Maryland how long can a person stay at your resident before they are considered a legal resident

Question

In the State of Maryland how long can a person stay at your resident before they are considered a legal resident

Answer

If a person starts out as a guest in your home and refuses to leave, he or she never acquires a legal right to reside there. Obviously if rent is being paid that is a different situation.
