What is the name of the worlds oldest known story in Mesopotamia?
Gilgamesh and epic which dates back to the 7th century BC. It was written on stone tablets but much of it survives. There are many gaps in the story but it is stll readable. The first known account of the "Noah's Ark" story is in this epic.
