How many hours does it take to fly from Toronto to Los Angeles?

How many hours does it take to fly from Toronto to Los Angeles?
It is roughly 5 to 6 hours flying time I flew from Detroit to Los Angeles twice as of now, and both times it took 5 hours. Detroit is not far from Toronto when flying.
