What would cause Car to die while driving it misses a few times then dies turns over but wont start again until a few days go by any ideas?
This could be a case of either over fuelling, or oil leaking onto the spark plugs.if the plugs are too wet then they wont spark, initially this will be burnt off by the heat of the engine and you will get occasional missing, then the moisture becomes too much and the plugs wont spark at all until the fuel has evaporated.Over fuelling can also lead to lack of compression as the fuel washes the bores down and rmoves the oil that helps with making a good seal.check for fuel in the oil.
