about a year ago i returned a leased vehicle i could no longer afford to pay for, i had called and asked for assistance since i was two months behind and had two months to go on the lease they refused to help. they had lawyers contact me and i politely told them i could not pay them as i was an am not making enough to pay them, now a year later i'm being served papers stating that im being sued for a ridicolous amount. my question is can they garnish my wages or even put a lien on my property?
