Question: I am to begin my divorce proceedings within a month. To prepare myself for the inevitable, I have been looking for a house to move into and have found one where the monthly payment is actually cheaper than rent. With this said, if I purchase a home before filing the divorce paperwork, will my soon to be ex-wife be entitled to half of the property according to the law in Indiana?
