How many decibels does a car skid generate?
This would be highly dependent on:
- type and size of tires (coefficient of friction, sidewall flex)
- weather (wet, dry, warm cold)
- road surface (gravel, smooth asphalt , rough asphalt, concrete)
- weight of the car/truck
- angle of the skid
- speed of the skid
- speed of the tires while skidding (braking, accelerating in relation to surface speed)
